Teodosio Abadia hit a great ball. Arsenio Cordairo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Chap didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islas AFC. After 15 played minutes Islas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Abadia. Braulio Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes, Paulo Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Islas AFC and the MIJAID players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes MIJAID got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro James. Sebastian Senon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gabriel Isadore. In the 24th match minute, Islas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Braulio Gomez made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Senon. Islas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cecilio Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Senon having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Mariano Luzaide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Senon having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of MIJAID booed when Islas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Braulio Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIJAID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Castulo in the 55th minute of play forced Islas AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, MIJAID's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arsenio Cordairo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mariano Luzaide sped through MIJAID's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Chap. Arsenio Cordairo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Chap having to make a save. A collision led to MIJAID getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gabriel Isadore hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Fausto Ralondo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MIJAID's Pedro Chap didn't even have to move. Braulio Gomez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Senon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The nice shot from Arsenio Cordairo in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pedro Chap had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Islas AFC's Mariano Luzaide got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenio Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Pedro Chap tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Cecilio Castulo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Islas AFC's Sebastian Senon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Cordairo got free with Pedro Chap in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Chap was a little too slow when Arsenio Cordairo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 95th minute Braulio Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Senon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Peli hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MIJAID's Mario Eyague got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Islas AFC's Fausto Ralondo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded Islas AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MIJAID.
