Fumo Canuto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lico Tarin went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Fumo Canuto made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Lico Tarin sent off a good shot on target. Fumo Canuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lico Tarin in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Downchester City's Jose Heredia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shi Yun Chen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Shi Yun Chen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Heredia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Kerry Covillon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerry Covillon scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fumo Canuto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 33 in the game by Lico Tarin from a close distance when the talented Fumo Canuto managed to make a qualified save. Downchester City's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the game, Lico Tarin lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Fumo Canuto. Jose Heredia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Jose Heredia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Downchester City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lico Tarin was the one to do the kick off. Fumo Canuto came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETAS FC's Lico Tarin. But to his dismay, Lico Tarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. ATLETAS FC's Eutropio Turienzo was substituted for Lico Tarin. ATLETAS FC's Justo Valdivia was substituted for Cordareo Macías. ATLETAS FC's Erubiel Madaleno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ángel De Silva, made in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Eutropio Turienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Niceto Ponte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Downchester City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETAS FC the free kick. In the 81st minute, Niceto Ponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manolito Cano struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Shi Yun Chen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Downchester City. In the 93rd match minute, ATLETAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Madaleno to maneuver through the defense. Liberto Guasch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shi Yun Chen. ATLETAS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Beila Marcilla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Shi Yun Chen came out and tried to block the shot, but Beila Marcilla slotted it home off the left post making it 4-4 in the 96th minute.
