The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Sean Dekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Yu Cheng Kang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Willem-Jan Hollanders quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Les Bistouquettes Bleues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomm Aelemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willem-Jan Hollanders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sean Dekker went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Sean Dekker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willem-Jan Hollanders was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tim Vranken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kaan Snow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goalkeeper Kaan Snow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thananiti Cheewawipat. In the 19th minute Sean Dekker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yu Cheng Kang who took care of the corner kick. Tim Vranken succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 23rd playminute. With an all-out effort, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Kaan Snow threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tim Vranken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 28 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's Sean Dekker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willem-Jan Hollanders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bryan Creemers scored 2-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaan Snow, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, Dráusio de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Thananiti Cheewawipat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Kaan Snow was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Thananiti Cheewawipat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thananiti Cheewawipat really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Purple Talents's Victorino Lazcano was substituted for Leo De Hond. Thananiti Cheewawipat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Kaan Snow made a huge save. Bryan Creemers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Kaan Snow made a huge save. Kaan Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Vranken in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sean Dekker to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Purple Talents defense, Bryan Creemers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaan Snow. The Purple Talents fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaan Snow should have stopped the shot. Willem-Jan Hollanders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sean Dekker's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yu Cheng Kang was slow to take the kick. During this time Purple Talents's players had a chance to rest. Purple Talents's Josef Wortelers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Willem-Jan Hollanders in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Willem-Jan Hollanders was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Josef Wortelers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josef Wortelers really showed his touch with that goal: 5-3. Purple Talents's Kaan Snow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Creemers in the 59th minute of play. Burak Onal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 68th minute, Tran Milters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Les Bistouquettes Bleues's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yu Cheng Kang was slow to take the kick. During this time Purple Talents's players had a chance to rest. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Giovanni Inglebert was substituted for Kenny Niewens. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Fransesco Van der Veeken was substituted for Arnaud Vandamme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Cheng Kang in the 74th minute of play forced Les Bistouquettes Bleues's goalkeeper Willem-Jan Hollanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sean Dekker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purple Talents's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Dekker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willem-Jan Hollanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Thananiti Cheewawipat came free, but Kaan Snow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaan Snow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Vranken in the 85th minute of the match. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues fans cheered their team off the field, for while Purple Talents had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
